Learning Opportunities

Target Audience: Gr. 4-12 Teachers of FSL or French Immersion; teachers of other languages and programs welcome

“La personne qui parle est la personne qui apprend”, although this adage makes intuitive sense, it’s actually more true than you might expect. In this session, we’ll cover exactly why speaking in a language class isn’t just a byproduct of learning, but it’s driver. Afterwards, participants will be presented with an overview of how to effectively and enjoyably integrate communicative tasks and speaking activities into every class with minimal prep. Along the way, we’ll also talk about how to teach pronunciation along the way.   

This session is held in English; participants can communicate in the official language of their choice.
