Target Audience: K-6 instructional leaders, pre-service teachers and teachers are encouraged to attend.
Are you teaching a combined class this year? This Combined Grade Planning and Collaboration Cohort will connect educators who are teaching similar grade levels in order to share ideas, resources and challenges. The idea is to walk away from this cohort series with practical and ready to go resources while also increasing your network of support.
You will be an active participant in this series while we explore topics such as:
- building community through routines and structures
- outcome connections across grades
- creating possible long range plans for math
- observation checklists
- resource sharing
We will have 75 minutes together online on November 13 to begin our collaborative community, and then we will have 2 full days, December 4 and March 4, which could be online or in-person as determined by each working group.
December 4 and March 4:
The idea for the full days is that we will come together as a group online for 90 minutes to share and explore ideas/resources, and then you will have working time with your group of similar grade educators. The working time will revolve around practical goals set by you.
Get ready to engage, communicate and collaborate throughout this series.
