Learning Opportunities

is a grade 2 teacher with Christ the Redeemer Catholic School Division. She has been a classroom teacher for over 25 years, having taught all grade levels from grade 2 to grade 12. Over the years Shona has been involved with mathematics curriculum development, publishing of math resources, as well as spending time in the role of math consultant with Calgary Catholic School District. She is passionate about math and loves to share her passion with others.

Broek has co-authored an article for the Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom Journal, was involved in developing a district level curriculum support document for the implementation of the upcoming math curriculum and is pursuing graduate courses in mathematics. Broek also has a passion for math and is keen to share her knowledge with others.

is an experienced educator, facilitating learning at the National, Provincial and District level. She has over 25 years' experience working in various roles at the District level and Ministry of Education in Ontario. Over the years her passion for learning has been driven by experiences as a Parent, Teacher, Consultant, Facilitator, Faculty Advisor and an Instructor and Writer for Teacher Additional Qualification courses and Pearson Canada. Currently working as the Planning and Implementation Manager for Math with Pearson Canada and providing support to all things Mathology. Supporting Educators in their learning is at the heart of Kim’s partnerships in collaboration.
