Learning Opportunities

Target audience: Gr. 4-12 Teachers of FSL and French Immersion are encouraged to attend.

The French language is, in fact, more than it’s cracked up to be! It’s full of cool phenomena, boggling coincidences, historical intrigues, quirky sounds and grammar twists that can astound any learner. But don’t despair, rejoice! In this session, come learn a ton of fun-filled facts and hacks about the French language that should be taught and enjoyed in every French classroom. Not only are these language tid-bits simply interesting, but they actually make learning and teaching French easier. Even if you’ve been speaking French since birth, you’ll find this one enjoyable!

This session is mostly held in English, but with extensive French examples; participants can communicate in the official language of their choice.
