This is a fun crash course in language pedagogy. Significant advances in our understanding of how languages are learned have been made in the last few decades and this knowledge can translate into powerful language teaching. Whether you’re new to the game or a veteran language teacher, this session will deliver a meaningful overview of language theory as it equates to good and impactful pedagogy. Learn to float above the trends in language education and make sense of them accordingly. You’ll also walk away energized to teach your language and leave with realistic classroom processes and ideas. These concepts are applicable to any second/additional language program, but examples will often be in French.

This session is held in English; participants can communicate in the official language of their choice.
