Through interactive activities and discussions, we will explore the roots of harassment experienced by the 2SLGBTQ+ community and discuss practical strategies to address bullying and prevent harassment. This workshop includes an overview of terms and definitions relevant to sexual and gender diversity, a discussion of 2SLGBTQ+ people’s experiences, and practical tools for being an engaged bystander. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own identities and how to use their power and privilege to intervene when witnessing bullying or harassment. You will leave this workshop prepared to address harassment and bullying in a way that empowers the people being impacted by harassment, and confident to have productive discussions with those who have caused harm.
