Dr. Lynne Paradis
Dr. Paradis has over forty years of educational leadership experience and is completing her tenth year as Superintendent of Suzuki Charter School. Prior to her current career she worked in public and separate Alberta school divisions serving roles as teacher, supervisor, Superintendent of Innovation and Learning, Curriculum leader, and Principal of every division including on line cyber schools. She has taught graduate studies in curriculum and leadership at the University of Alberta, University of Calgary and Royal Roads university and is a Governor Emeritus of the U of A. She holds a doctorate in education with a curriculum speciality from U of A, a Master of Education degree in leadership from the University of B.C and has years of experience working on provincial ministry of education committees, was Chair of the Central Alberta Regional PD consortium for ten years and is an active Rotarian doing literacy humanitarian work in Belize, Central America. She has a lifelong zest for the field of education and continues working to advance education with a focus on innovative and research based practices. She has become a strong voice in advancing the appreciation and value added of Alberta Charter schools and promoting that joy in the Charter School workplace contributes to the increasing successes evident in Alberta Charter schools.
