We know that the pandemic has led to many challenges in accessing social and mental health support for people of all ages. Children and youth are at the time in their lives when forming relationships and connections are critical, and yet opportunities for authentic connections continue to be limited.

The Alberta Mentoring Partnership (AMP) is bringing together schools, organizations, and agencies from across the province that work with youth, and their caregivers, to build and enhance these critical relationships and connections, and provide the supports that are crucial to building social and emotional skills and promoting positive mental health.

Please join us for the day as we look at ways to connect our youth with appropriate supports, while also encouraging them to become that important connection for their peers and younger students. This summit helps kick off the third year of the AMP Teen Mentoring in Schools Collaborative Community Network Project, bringing schools, organizations and agencies together to share evidence-informed practices around building adolescent social and emotional skills through mentoring opportunities.
