K-3, Grades 4 - 6Target Audience: K-6 french immersion teachers piloting new curriculum and administrators are encouraged to attend.
The French Immersion Piloting Teachers Collaboration is an opportunity for K – 6 teachers to come together for a 2-part facilitated series to support the journey of piloting the French Immersion Language Arts & Literature (FILAL) curriculum. This opportunity will help you to examine the changes in curriculum, collaborate to design learning and empower you to feel ready for students in your care. Led by French Language Specialist Valerie Perreault-Murphy from Calgary Board of Education’s School Improvement team, and Heather White, System French Language Learning Leader from Calgary Board of Education, you will be supported to create the learning conditions you want for students in your immersion classes.
These sessions are held on Saturdays FREE of charge, with a FREE catered lunch, NO Guest Teacher plans required and like-minded colleagues at your side. Hope you can join us.
