In this resource, you will find a list of forty multidisciplinary strategies divided into 5 processes.
All of which will support students in:
-Activate their knowledge
-Anticipate difficulties or misconceptions
-Acquire the key information
-Deliberate and Challenge the new information
-Consolidate their learning
During the session, we will share practical ways to incorporate these strategies into your class to support your learners in all content areas.
Julie Valliancourt
is a Literacy specialist with Rocky View Schools. As an educator, Julie’s focus is around designing authentic literacy tasks that engage learners while meeting their diverse needs. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Calgary.Susan Noble
is a Literacy specialist with Rocky View Schools. She is passionate about engaging young learners in joyful and authentic reading and writing pursuits through modelling and careful scaffolding. Susan is also passionate about finding ways to utilize technology to support student engagement and literacy development. Susan recently completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Calgary.
