TARGET AUDIENCE: GRADE 4-6 FSL TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

Join Diana Boisvert, Director of the French Language Resource Centre as she shares ways to engage FSL students through the use of the action-oriented approach, the basis of the CEFRL (Common European Framework of References for Languages), which is changing the landscape of French Second Language Education in Canada. She will provide an overview of the action-oriented approach including what resource can be used to facilitate this approach. Concrete examples of students engaged in this approach will be explored. This will be a bilingual presentation in both French and English.
