TARGET AUDIENCE: GRADE 5-12 MATH/SCIENCE TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND
The Thinking Strategies Placemat is a powerful digital learning tool that provides teachers with a repository of research based, highly effective thinking strategies to embed in classroom instructions during different phases of the learning process. This series will dive deep into specific phases of learning, looking closely at the recommended, high-yield strategies and how they support student learning within the Math/Science context. In connection with the RVS Numeracy Framework, teachers will explore how these strategies can enrich student understanding of Math/Science concepts. Components of the series will be differentiated for middle school and high school contexts.
