TARGET AUDIENCE: PRE-SCHOOL TEACHERS AND EDUCATORS GRADES 1-3 ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

Everything is possible outside -  children are more physically active, the natural world enters through all the senses, community connections are made and inquiry learning takes off! During this session we will explore how learning can happen outside.

Participants will:

  • Examine frameworks to guide outdoor play space design and experiences
  • Directly experience outdoor play and activities to engage students
  • Consider how to incorporate outdoor play and nature connection
  • Share ideas, challenges and successes with colleagues

We will be outside several times during the day - come prepared to play!
