TARGET AUDIENCE: LITERACY LEADS, AND KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 2 TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

Join Calgary Reads CEO, Steacy Collyer, at the Children’s Reading Place in Inglewood for a tour, talk and time with texts that support the new Alberta Kindergarten-Grade 2 curriculum.

Teachers will be inspired to create reading places in their classroom and at home. Teachers will explores artistic expression in texts that evoke responses and intentionally curate their picture book collection.

This learning opportunity is being offered through curriculum implementation funding from Alberta Education.
