Luisa Zimich and Samantha Tomlinson
are both currently Diverse Learning Consultants, English Language Learning for the Calgary Catholic School District. Luisa has taught high school ESL, FSL, French Immersion and Spanish in British Columbia, the Yukon and Alberta. Samantha has taught K-12 ESL in Japan, K-9 in Alberta. Their work includes providing professional development, support and leadership in effective programming and curriculum implementation for English language learners within their district’s schools, the ESL specialist council of the Alberta Teachers Association, for various immigrant serving agencies and various conventions throughout North America.
