AUDIENCE: SYSTEM LEADERS, SCHOOL LEADERS AND GRADES 10-12 EDUCATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
Educational leaders across the province of Alberta are faced with the annual task of implementing changes that are a constant within their districts and schools. The changes embedded in High School Redesign, Future Curriculum, as well as other initiatives require shifts in behaviour and modification of culture as educational landscapes evolve. How can these initiatives be implemented in a way that ensures success while considering the need to integrate theory, ensure sustainability and build capacity while their current capacity in leading successful change within their organizations.

James Aitchisonis a past active member of CASS, a former consultant to Alberta Education and a former educator and Director in our Alberta systems. James is now a highly sought after national consultant in K-12 environments working with a team from IBM Canada K-12 Education. His team works exclusively with K-12 organizations across the country supporting the goals of learning teams. His own work includes executive coaching, cultural change management and supporting the work of technical teams.
