TARGET AUDIENCE: GRADE 5-12 MATH AND SCIENCE TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

The Thinking Strategies Placemat is here! This powerful new digital learning tool, a collaboration of 11 Alberta school districts including Rockyview, provides teachers with research based, highly effective thinking strategies for teachers to embed in instruction during different phases of the learning process. This mini series will dive deep into specific phases of learning, look closely at the recommended strategies, and how they support student learning within the Math/Science context. Components of the series will be differentiated for middle school and high school context.

Participation in all sessions of the series is welcome but not mandatory.

This learning opportunity is being offered through curriculum implementation funding from Alberta Education.

About the Presenter(s)

Rocky View Schools Literacy and Numeracy Team works with administrators, teachers and students across the Rocky View Schools Division to support them in their literacy and numeracy journey.  The focus of this team is to provide support in the implementation of high yield strategies.
