TARGET AUDIENCE: ALL CLASSROOM TEACHERS (K-12), EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTS, LEARNING COACHES AND LEARNING LEADERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

What is a learning disability? How is it defined? How is ADHD different from a learning disability? This workshop covers the definition of learning disabilities as well ADHD followed by how LD and ADHD affect a student’s performance in the classroom. The second half of the workshop will be  comprised of discovery time and small group discussion of the best strategies and techniques to support your students with LD and/or ADHD.  Suitable for educators teaching Kindergarten through to Highschool. 

This learning opportunity is being offered through curriculum implementation funding from Alberta Education.
