Learning Opportunities

is a Director of Learning with Palliser Regional Schools and is a doctoral student at the University of Calgary studying in the faculty of languages and literacy.  His interests and areas of research are primarily in English Language Acquisition, academic literacy, and vocabulary acquisition.

works with Foothills School Division, south of Calgary.  Her work as Principal of Divisional Programming includes English Second Language programming.  Sarah studied language and diversity while earning her Masters of Education at the University of Calgary.  Serving many years with the Alberta Teacher’s Association English Second Language Association, she now eagerly learns through colleagues, workshops, sessions and pre-service teachers.
