Realize Your Potential Youth Society (RYP) and the Calgary Regional Consortium have teamed up to provide an opportunity for teachers, leaders, and parents of Black youth to unpack the issues, experiences, and challenges faced in our schools with a non-judgmental solutions-focussed approach.

The series intends to create a safe and welcoming space for questions, perspectives, and collaboration to support the goal of success for students. This partnership series includes the tremendous involvement of RYP’s Youth Ambassador Committee, a group of students and young professionals (aged 16 – 24) who work as leaders for positive change in the community.

This three-part series takes place on Zoom and is open to all who want to increase awareness, understand perspectives, and empower Black students in your care.
